Overview
At nighttime in Mistico Park visitors have the opportunity to experience the wonderful tropical rainforest. This tour takes place in our trails and includes crossing several hanging bridges. A variety of animals may be spotted, such as: frogs, snakes, lizards, and mammals including: kinkajous, coatis, margays, nocturnal animals such as owls, as well as a wide variety of nocturnal insects inhabiting the reserve. Costa Rica is home to uncommon species of fauna such as the red-eyed leaf frog with vertical pupils. Enjoy a completely new experience: Explore the secondary and old-growth forests at night on the hanging bridges. Wear a raincoat, long pants, and closed walking shoes and bring with you a camera and insect repellent.
